Electronic Art Specifications
MODO Exhibits specializes in producing large format digital graphics. Since all jobs are custom incoming artwork is subject to inspection for correctness and completeness. Specifications not met may require additional computer time to prepare files.  Increased costs, delay or add-on charges for rush shipping will be applied where
necessary.

 

ABOBE ILLUSTRATOR
Used for things such as layouts, logos / logotypes, and marks. ALL type must be converted to outlines. Files should be in CMYK or PANTONE mode in Illustrator format or EPS. All vinyl cut graphics must be vector with no linked or embedded raster images.

 

ADOBE PHOTOSHOP
When using photos, images or raster type art all type must be converted to outlines. Files should be in CMYK or PANTONE mode saved as a Photoshop format, TIFF or High Res JPG. ALL photo / raster images must be a minimum of 25% final size at 600dpi.  Art taken from a web page is too small to use for any output.

Final Output Size = 30” x 40” / Original Photo = 7.5” x 10”@600dpi
Final Output Size = 40” x 60” / Original Photo = 10” x 15”@600dpi
Final Output Size = 48” x 96” / Original Photo = 12” x 24”@600dpi

 

All files sent to MODO Exhibits should include all images (photos, scanned freehand and raster type), fonts and digital PDF’s or hard copy color letter, legal or tabloid size proofs must accompany files. We prefer to accept incoming art burned to a CD with printed directory of disk contents. Also include color proofs with notes of any special colors (PANTONE, CMYK percentages, etc.).
